First Snow of the Season
We're at the Kingvale Lodge located just off Interstate 80 near Donner Pass in the central Sierra. The lodge is ready to open for the upcoming ski season and accommodate guests.The first snow of the season is flying at 6 AM this morning. The temperature is 28 F. Freshly fallen leaves have been raked and the burn pile extinguished.
